Briatore was in Malindi last year for two weeks December holiday where he also inspected his investments .

He said the 500 million Billionaire Resort (Jambo Exclusive Hotel) is at an advance stage.

“I have visited Malindi just to inspect my investments and especially the Billionaire Resort which will be on its final touches very soon,” said the Billionaire.

He was accompanied by his wife Elizabeth Gragoraci, Francesco Costa and Stefania Barone.

According to Lion in the Sun Manager Mr. Philip Chai said the Billionaire Resort will be complete by December next year.

Mr. Chai noted that completion of the Resort will see 70 qualified personnel employed a part from 300 others who are already on the construction work.

“The construction of the Billionaire Resort is in advance stage and by December next year it will be complete. Already there are 300 people employed in the construction work and we expect to employ 70 more personnel when it starts operating,” he said.

The Jambo Exclusive Hotel is expected to offer butlers’ services according to Mr. Chai adding that staffs will be taken for overseas training.

“The Hotel will be giving butlers services to customers and so staffs will have to be taken to overseas training,” he added.
