RBK presidential aspirant Prof. James Ole Kiyiapi has today assured Teachers that he is going to work hand in hand with them to ensure that all Kenyans regardless of their backgrounds acquire the basic education and also that the teachers feel comfortable in their own country.

He was speaking when he visited the recuperating KNUT Sec. Gen Mr. David Okuta Osiany at his home in Nkoroi Ongata Rongai.  Kiyiapi assured Okuta of prayers and was very happy with the pace at which Okuta was recovering.

On his part, Okuta thanked Prof. Kiyiapi for visiting him and expressed his joy that at least we had people in this country who had a heart also for the country and this was demonstrated buy Kiyiapi visiting him.

Okuta assured Kiyiapi that the teachers will not abandon him in his quest for presidency and will support him when the time comes.

Kiyiapi was accompanied by Mr. Wycliffe Omucheyi the 2nd Vice Chairman KNUT and Mrs Dorothy Muthoni the 1st KNUT national Women Representative.
