Mudavadi: Vote for the best option

12 November 2012, 14:50 Tony Karomo

Deputy Prime Minister has called on Kenyans to vote him as the best and not as an alternative, because of the great job he can do for this country.

Addressing thousands of UDF party supporters in Eldoret on Sunday, Mudavadi urged Kenyans to keenly observe politicians’ history before deciding who to vote for the coveted seats, saying that making of a president is a serious issue which every Kenyan should be involved.

Accompanied by UDF officials from all over Kenya, Mudavadi recalled how Moi helped him rise in the country’s power ranks when he was a youth saying that UDF Party believes that the youths have potential which will be exploited once he is voted in.

He added that UDF government will ensure free education to the secondary level urging the Kalenjin community to support him and realize their children’s talent. “The Kalenjin community has talents in athletics which have put Kenya in the world map. We will do away with the class eight and every child will school to form four for free, this will give them a chance to realize what no government has ever allowed”.

On his part, Ikolomani MP Bonny Khalwale entertained the crowd by his bullfight jig dance. He sent his condolences to the families of police officers killed in the Samburu attacks. “The police fight for the citizens' safety, they ensure peace and order but have to strike to get a pay rise. UDF government will solve such distasteful matters.”

Also present were MPs George Khaniri, Julia Ojiambo, Manyala Keya, Justus Kizito, Nderitu Muriithi,Soita Shitanda and George Nyamweya.
