PK: Do not waste your vote

19 February 2013, 13:57 Alloys Musyoka

Eagle Alliance presidential candidate Peter Kenneth has urged Kenyans to elect him in the coming general election since he is the only presidential candidate who can be trusted on issues of land and is ready to serve Kenyans.

Kenneth said his colleagues have been moving from one court to another on issues of land but he has not even attended court session a single day on issues of land grabbing or any other issue.

'If you want to elect a clean president who has never been to court because of land grabbing and other issues, it's Kenneth so don't waste your vote. I will solve the issue of land in the country amicably," he said in his address to Malindi residents during his vote hunting mission at the Coast.

Kenneth who was accompanied by his running mate Ronald Osumba said Kenyans should vote wisely be electing leaders not on tribal, racial or wealth basis but by track record.

The presidential candidate pointed out his records on CDF management in his constituency are evidence that he is interested in serving Kenyans.

He said those who have been involved in corruption and failed to serve Kenyans during their long term in government should not be trusted any more and given chance to serve Kenyans again.

'If they come here asking you to vote for them, put them to task and ask them to explain to you what they have done so far for Kenyans because most of them have been in the government for a long period of time," he added.

His running mate Ronald Osumba said it was time for Kenyans to elect youthful leaders who can be trusted like him.

The Eagle Alliance had toured Tana River and Lamu Counties before proceeding to Malindi, Kwale and Tononoka grounds in Mombasa County where they also addressed locals.
