Social media protest over Ngunyi

07 February 2013, 13:32 Onyango Alfred

Several people on social media mainly facebook and twitter have protested over political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi's remarks that Jubilee will win with a landslide. The critics who are majorly CORD supporters have termed it as biased and untrue.

Ngunyi had tweeted that Jubilee will garner 5.9 million votes against cord's 2.7 million votes. This according to him was based on the fact that Kenyan's always vote based on ethnicity. He tweeted IEBC ethnic math: Uhuru = 4.6m votes. Ruto=  1.6m, Raila 1.7m, Kalonzo = 1m. Cord = 2.7 Jubileee=5.9. This did not auger well with cord supporters.

 'RIP'  Mutahi Ngunyi

Some even went ahead and created a facebook page named 'RIP Mutahi Ngunyi' where several people have expressed there discontent with Ngunyi's  conclusion.

Some of the comments were; cord mko juu.... jubilee mko down ( Felix Malombe), Ngunyi ni tribalistic nani asiye jua hayo...amongst others.
