2012 KCPE results topped by a girl

Nairobi - The Standard reports Kinoti Joy Kathure from Meru County topped the 2012 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) nationally with 430 marks.

She was ranked number one though she tied with Mwaura Boniface and Wachira Njomo, both from Kiambu County who also scored 430 marks out of the possible 500.

Mwaura and Njomo were ranked position two and three respectively.
