Chief Justice threatened, cites judicial intimidation

20 February 2013, 13:59

Nairobi - Capital News reports Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has revealed that he was threatened over the integrity case that involved Jubilee presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.

Mutunga accused the State of harassment and recalled an instance when an immigration official tried to bar him from travelling out of the country to Dar-es-Salaam, since he did not purportedly have clearance from the Head of the Civil Service Francis Kimemia.
