Cohesion Monitors hired to oversee hate speech

Nairobi - The Standard reports over 100 cohesion overseers have been hired by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission to monitor politicians over hate speech during campaigns. 

NCIC has also launched a toll-free number - 15666 - to be used by the Cohesion Monitors to send alerts for speedy interventions.

NCIC chairman Mzalendo Kibunjia, was addressing the monitors who will be undergoing a two-day training at KCB Training Centre in Karen.
