Workers to sue council over salary arrears

18 March 2013, 14:39

Mombasa - Daily Nation reports striking Mombasa Municipal Council workers have said they will sue their employer over a two-month salary arrears dispute of KES 220 million.

He said that although the workers began their strike last Thursday to force the Treasury to disburse the Local Authority Transfer Fund (LATF) cash totaling KES 700 million, nothing had materialised.
