Council workers call of strike

24 January 2013, 14:50

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports council workers who have been striking for the last six days have finally called off the strike and returned to work.

They had vowed not to resume duty until a salary increase dispute with the Local Government ministry was resolved but this later changed after the matter was taken to the Industrial Court.
