Nairobi - The Star reports that fear and anxiety have gripped witnesses and their families following the International Criminal Court (ICC) confirmation hearings.
The family members of the witnesses who either testified or presented witness statements used by the defence fear that criminals have targeted their families to intimidate them in the event that the cases go to full trial.
Investigations by the Star revealed on Monday that criminals looking for United Nations Ambassador Yvonne Khamati, one of the witnesses, tried to gain entry into her Nairobi family home.
