IEBC: Identification Cards are being sold

Nairobi - The Standard reports the electoral commission has launched investigations into the reported cases of buying of IDs from voters by certain people ahead of the polls.

According to the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC), it has information that some people were buying IDs from voters in various parts of the country which it has termed as illegal.

IEBC Chief Electoral Officer James Oswago said the commission's internal investigations unit is working with police to unearth this syndicate.
