IEBC hires helicopters to fly in official results

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has hired helicopters to speed up announcement of official results in the next polls. 

Official results from remote areas will be flown in by police helicopters.

Preliminary results will be relayed directly to the national tallying centre at Nairobi’s Bomas of Kenya into millions of homes via television and official results cannot be announced until returning officers submit their forms.
