Lawyers barred from wearing miniskirts

Nairobi - The Standard reports the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has released a dress code barring female lawyers from wearing revealing clothes.

According to LSK Secretary Apollo Mboya and Chairman Eric Mutua, practicing Advocates of the High Court should not wear sleeveless shirts or dresses.

Female lawyers are now allowed to wear trouser suits and braid their hair when appearing before Judges, Magistrates and Tribunals.
