Leaders wish Kenyans a Happy New Year

Nairobi - A smooth transition to the country’s fourth president was among the pledges as top leaders in the country and beyond sent their New Year messages.

According to Daily Nation, President Kibaki on Monday noted that the smooth transition must be felt at both national and county levels.

In his last New Year message to Kenyans as President, Kibaki said this is the reason the government is working hard to ensure a smooth transition to the county governments.
