M’Mbijiwe tried to recruit police impostor

23 January 2013, 09:16

Nakuru - Daily Nation reports the commission investigating the police impostor saga was on Tuesday told that former Rift Valley police boss John M’Mbijiwe tried to recruit  Joshua Waiganjo as a police reservist irregularly.

It was also revealed that the former top officer replaced police car parts, changed colour and even registration numbers without authorisation from the headquarters in Nairobi.

According to West Pokot OCPD David Wambua, M’Mbijiwe intimidated him into opening a Kenya Police Reservist file for Joshua Waiganjo and write a letter confirming his appointment.
