Man hacks three children to death, hangs himself

Kakamega - The Standard reports three children aged between two and one were hacked to death by their father who later injured his wife before committing suicide in Irichero village, Kakamega County.

The man left behind a suicide note indicating that he was HIV positive and did not want his family to suffer when he dies.

According to residents, the man turned on his wife and children at around 4am while armed with an axe.
