New NSSF Bill seeks to raise contributions

Contributions to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) are expected to go up.

This is if a Bill that seeks to convert NSSF into a National Social Security Pension Trust Fund becomes law.

The proposed Fund will hold annual general meeting where contributors will determine members to the board of Trustees as opposed to the current position where the Government appoints them.
