Officer collapses and dies in tallying centre

Nairobi - A senior officer from Kuresoi collapsed and died at the Mau Summit tallying centre, The Standard reports.

Confirming the incident, Kuresoi OCPD David Wambui said that he could not yet release the identity of the officer as his family had not been informed about the sudden death.

He went on to add that he was saddened by the death of the officer while on duty, and that the officer had not informed them of any health problem.
