Public resources being used by politicians, report

Nairobi - The Standard reports a report by civil society has revealed widespread abuse of State resources in campaigns by politicians allied to Jubilee and CORD alliances.

According to the report by the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC), even before the official campaign period was declared, politicians in the two camps were already using public resources in disregard of the law.

In the report photographs of the State vehicles that were on the campaign trail including their number plates are displayed.
