05 March 2013, 06:16

Nairobi - The technical hitch that occurred in one of the servers delaying the relay of results has been rectified according to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

Speaking at the National Tallying Centre at the Bomas of Kenya, IEBC's CEO James Oswago said they solved the problem by providing additional capacity on the affected server, The Standard reports.

Oswago went on to add that the technical team was closely monitoring the affected server adding that the chief agents of the presidential candidates have been fully briefed by the Information and Communication Technology team and they are fully engaged  and working closely as a team to ensure full optimal performance.
