Scores injured as Masinde Muliro students strike

Kakamega - Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) main campus has been closed indefinitely after students went on rampage protesting the ongoing lectures strike.

According to the Standard, scores were injured and property of unknown value was destroyed in the morning strike that rocked Kakamega town.

Police intervened and dispersed the angry students by firing tear gas canisters. They also apprehended suspects, restoring order in the town.
