Teachers cautioned over planned strike by lawyers

Nairobi - The Standard reports lawyers have cautioned teachers against the planned national strike set for Tuesday next week.

According to the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Chairman Eric Mutua, the looming strike was ill advised with General Elections barely three weeks away. 

He said we do not need civil strife during this campaign period and urged the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) to exercise caution.
