Three KDF soldiers killed in Garissa

Garissa - Three Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers were on Monday killed after being attacked by armed terror suspects in Garissa Town, when they had stopped to mend a puncture.

According to The Standard, the soldiers sustained serious gun wounds and later succumbed; as earlier initial reports had indicated that one soldier was abducted during the incident.

There was intense exchange of gunfire between Kenya security forces and the attackers near the North Eastern Provincial Hospital.
