Nairobi - Motorists using Nairobi - Thika superhighway on Friday morning experienced an unusual traffic snarl-up ahead of the official opening by President Mwai Kibaki.

According to Daily Nation, matatu operators increased fare by 100 per cent, while private vehicles felt the inconvenience of being stuck in traffic.
