Cord's security pledge to Turkana

Nairobi - The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) took its campaigns to the North Rift where the coalition's presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka promised improved security in the region.

Speaking in Kakuma and Kalokol, Musyoka said Cord will ensure adequate security for the people in Turkana County who have experienced cross-border raids and cattle rustling, Daily Nation reports.

Musyoka reiterated that a Cord government will ensure peace and stability prevails in this region among other areas witnessing insecurity problems because without peace no development will be realised.
