Double registered voters removed from roll

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports 20,000 names have been removed from the voter roll after the electoral body discovered that they had registered more than once.

According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Issack Hassan, the commission came across the names as it continues to clean up the register.

Speaking during a meeting with the presidential candidates, Hassan said voting will be done manually and not electronically as widely thought.
