Election results will be released immediately

Nairobi - March 4 poll results will be released 90 minutes  after voting closes at 5pm.

Daily Nation reports that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will start with the presidential results before announcing results of other five elective positions.

An Electronic Results Transmission System will be used to relay the vote counts directly from polling stations to the tallying centres.
