I will donate my salary if elected Senator, Mwau

19 February 2013, 13:17

Makueni - The Standard reports Makueni residents may be the beneficiaries of Makueni Senate seat aspirant Harun Mwau's monthly salary if they elect him to the post on March 4.

Speaking during his campaign trail in the County, the flamboyant former Kilome MP said his quest for the seat is not buoyed by the pay package it attracts, but the need to give a better service to the people of Makueni.

He said he had made enough money from his private engagements and the little he would be paid as senator would just be like a drop of water in the ocean.
