IEBC: Close schools to allow party primaries

Nairobi - Public schools might close on Thursday to allow political parties hold nominations if the recommendations by IEBC are effected, Daily Nation reports.

Coalitions and parties will hold primaries on Thursday to pick candidates for various offices.

Schools have always been used as venues for political events and the primaries are expected to be held in the learning institutions.
