IEBC clears Raila to run for State House

Nairobi - The Standard reports Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to contest for presidency in the March 4 elections.

Raila and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka were cleared by the IEBC at Kenya International Conference Centre in Nairobi on Wednesday. 

They were accompanied by Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula, ODM Chairman Henry Kosgey, Land Minister James Orengo, Education Minister Mutula Kilonzo, former MPs Dalmas Otieno, Franklin Bett and former AG  Amos Wako.
