Kalonzo bumps into rivals

17 February 2012, 17:44

Nairobi - Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto on Friday came face-to-face with Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, at a funeral barely 24 hours after they opted to wipe him out of the G7 political alliance.

According to Capital News, the three were attending slain Nairobi lawyer Rose Wathiru Waruinge's funeral service; who was Kenyatta’s kin.

Although the leaders kept off the brewing stand-off, Kenyatta reiterated his stance saying that he has already lost one job and has no intention of losing the second in the immediate future, as he begged the pastor's indulgence to invite his boss the VP to address the gathering.
