Karua, Raila and Uhuru performed best in the debate

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports a new poll shows Martha Karua, Peter Kenneth, Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga were the best performers in the presidential debate held on Monday night.

According to phone interviews conducted on 328 TV viewers immediately after the debate by Consumer Insight, the candidates were also ranked on how they performed in specific issues.

A majority of those who watched the debate said it was very useful with a full 92 per cent saying it helped them understand the candidates better.
