Leaders tell off Kazungu over Mudavadi

14 December 2012, 13:14

Kakamega - A group of leaders from Western Province have criticised Kaloleni legislator Kazungu Kambi over remarks that Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi should drop his presidential bid for Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to the Standard, Gender Assistant Minister Manyala Keya described Kambi’s sentiments as personal, adding that Mudavadi will not be intimidated in his quest to take over from President Kibaki.

Councillors from Busia County also criticised the MP’s remarks and urged Mudavadi not to cede ground and not to accept any other post other than the presidential flag-bearer in the Jubilee coalition.
