Mudavadi can beat Raila in polls: Survey

10 December 2012, 16:24

Nairobi - The Standard reports Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi stands a better chance to win the presidency in the next General Election if he becomes the flag bearer of his coalition pact.

In the latest opinion polls by Strategic Insight, survey showed Mudavadi’s candidature in the TNA-URP-UDF pact would get 49 per cent support while Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s candidature in the ODM-Wiper-Ford Kenya pact would get a 41 per cent support.

However, if Uhuru Kenyatta clinches the coalition ticket, he would lose to Raila in the March 4 elections.
