NCIC not investigating Wetangula for hate speech

Nairobi - The Standard reports Trade Minister Moses Wetangula is not being investigated by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) over claims of propagating hate speech.

According to NCIC chairman Mzalendo Kibunjia the commission was yet to receive a formal complaint from Jubilee presidential aspirant Uhuru Kenyatta who has accused Wetangula of making inflammatory statements against him.

He said they have heard those claims but the Uhuru has not formally written to them.
