NEMA: No noise license, no campaigning

Nairobi - The Standard reports to get rid of noise pollution, political parties will have to obtain licences from Nema before holding campaigns.

According to Nema, no meetings will be authorised by police, Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission or other government agency unless the organisers produce licences from Nema.

The one-off license cost KES 2,200 and valid for seven days.
