ODM officials resign from party posts

02 January 2013, 12:37

Kisii - Eight officials of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Kisii County branch have resigned from their posts to seek elective seats in the March 4 General Election.

According to The Standard, Public Works Minister Chris Obure stepped down from his post of chairman to contest the Kisii County senate seat, while branch Secretary James Ongwae resigned to vie for the gubernatorial position.
