Party nominations to be manned by police

Nairobi - The Standard reports that, police officers who will provide security on Thursday when parties hold nominations are the same officers who will man the elections on March 4.

They will use the nomination exercise to gauge how they are best prepared for the great task ahead.

This was announced by the Inspector General of police he met senior police officers to discuss crime and coming elections.
