Raila and Ruto reconcile, call for peaceful polls

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports charismatic preacher David Owuor convened a meeting that brought together six presidential candidates who pledged for peace ahead of the polls. 

The candidates vowed that the country will never again witness a repeat of the violence that occurred after the 2007 poll.

At the meeting, two of the country’s biggest political rivals, Cord flag bearer Raila Odinga and Jubilee running mate William Ruto reconciled.
