Special nomination seats rules have been released

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports strict rules have been handed to political parties to guide their compiling of lists of the people they wish to give special seats in the two houses of Parliament and the county assemblies.

The rules requires each party to submit submit a list of all the people who would be selected to the positions if the party is entitled to all the available positions.

After the submission, the lists cannot be amended, the notice to the parties issued on Wednesday January 23, 2013 said. The parties have until 5 pm today to submit the lists.
