Wako appeals IEBC to end ‘rigging’ speculations

Nairobi - The Standard reports former Attorney General Amos Wako has urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to end speculations of vote 'rigging' ahead of the March 4 polls.

He said the country need to move away from some of the rumours which he noted could easily create unnecessary tension among supporters of rival candidates.

According to him, IEBC should ensure that there is no interference of whatsoever nature, particularly at the time of casting votes and announcing the results.
