Cape Town – The former governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney, who was a few days ago popular on Facebook and among some voters, is losing thousands of friends on the social network.

At 12:00, Romney had 12 042 344 ‘Likes’ on Facebook while Obama had 33 249 154. By 12:30 Romney lost 32 followers on Facebook while Obama gained 921 followers.

In a recent like count for Romney on the webpage dissappearingromney.com he lost more than 10 000 followers on Facebook in one day.

Mashable.com reported in the three days after Romney conceded the Presidential election to Barack Obama, more than 50 000 users unliked his page.
