City Stars axe four players

Nairobi - Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Nairobi City Stars FC have dropped four players from their squad ahead of the new season.

Fisa FC (Nairobi Provincial League) winger Ibrahim Kitawi, who was on-loan to the Kawangware-based outfit, Francis ‘Jakambare’ Akango, Duncan ‘Macheda’ Owiti and Alex Nyamweno have all parted ways with the club.

Confirming the news, head coach Bye Wadda said that he wanted to maintain a lean squad that he would be able to handle effectively.
